FHP- BROWN (Humic Acid), is a group of molecules that bind to and help plant
roots receive, water and nutrients. Humic substances are formed by microbial
degradation of dead plant matter such as Lignum (Leonordite). The Humic acid
and Fulvic acid are extracted as a colloidal soil from soil and other solid phase
sources into a strongly basic aqueous solution of Potassium Hydroxide (KOH).
Humic Acid substances accounts for 50 to 90% of CATION EXCHANGE CAPACITY
(CEC). It holds cation nutrients. FHb-Brown increases the yield upto 70%
accompanied by a reduction upto 30% in the use of fertilizers. FHP -Brown
are known to produce 3 types of effects -
Physical benefits :
It improves the structure of the soil. Helps soil to loosen and increases the soil
aeration. Improves the water holding capacity thus help in resisting the drought.
Chemical benefits :
Neutralise both acid and alkaline soils. Improve and optimise the uptake of
nutrients and water by plants. Acts as a natural chelator for metal ions and
alkaline conditions and promote their uptake by the roots. Rich in both organic
and mineral substances essential to plant growth. Enhance the uptake of
nitrogen by plants. Help to eliminate 'chlorosis ', due to iron deficiency.
Biological benefits :
Stimulates plant enzymes and increase their
production. Acts as organic catalyst in many
biological processes. Enhance plants natural
resistance against disease & pest. Stimulate Root
growth, especially vertically & enable better uptake
of nutrients. Increase root respiration and root
formation. Increase germition & viability of plants.
Dosage :
For Coffee & Tea :- 4-6 Kgs. of FHP Brown per
MT of Fertilizer.
For Pepper :- 150 - 250 gms./vine depending
on the size of the vine.
Other Crops :- 4 - 6 Kgs. per MT of Fertilizer or
Drench @ 1Kg/Barrel for vegetables &
Ginger/Turmeric.
